Warranty Policy
The Wrench Monkey offers a replacement warranty policy on all its products consistent with individual manufacturer guidelines and policies. We do not offer any warranty beyond the manufacturer warranty.
Limited lifetime warranty products are covered for a maximum duration of 5 years from the date of purchase.
Warranties are non-transferable to any other persons or vehicles, and only valid for the original purchasing customer.
All manufacturer warranties will be processed directly via The Wrench Monkey.
Warranty approval should be obtained prior to returning any product to us.
Any products returned without prior approval via an approved warranty RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) may be returned to sender at customer's expense, or may be destroyed.
Warranty replacements do not cover shipping costs, unless within the standard new return period.
To received a replacement product under warranty, customers must either:
A: Purchase a new replacement product.
Once correct replacement product is received as expected, return the defective item in the original packaging from the new product to us along with the RMA document provided. Upon receipt, we will process the warranty claim, and subsequently issue a full refund of the most recently purchased item, less any applicable shipping costs. Amount will be refunded directly to the method of payment used to purchase the replacement item.
OR
B: Return defective product to us. Once received, we will process according to the warranty RMA, and send a new replacement product.
IMPORTANT: Warranty processing time typically takes 3-5 business days after everything has been received as expected, but may be longer depending on the nature of the warranty claim.
Warranty issues different than specifically-approved RMAs will cause delays in processing, and may result in warranty rejection.
The return shipping charges are calculated based on the weight and dimensions of the package, and according to the shipping carrier policies.
We recommend returning goods using shipping return labels provided by The Wrench Monkey upon RMA approval, as shipping rates are significantly less than retail rates charged by Canada Post at the Post Office, or via other carriers, and is typically the most cost effective method.
