Verify Vehicle Year, Make, Model, and option information

Often times, getting the wrong part can be traced back to incorrect vehicle information. It’s easy to miss the correct options, or even to make a small mistake on the year or model of a vehicle, but this information is critical in ensuring the correct fitment of a part.

Check the part manufacturer’s website for any updated information for your vehicle

Please visit the part manufacturer’s website and enter your verified vehicle information. Sometimes manufacturers update their website direct, or post certain relevant information bulletins. Also, this can allow you to visually verify that part against the manufacturer’s image in case of incorrectly packaged item.

Get Your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)

This serial number for the vehicle can be found on the front lower part of the windshield on the driver’s side, or often on the vehicle manufacturer’s option sticker on the inside of the door jamb of the driver’s door.

The VIN number is necessary to help customer service to effectively find out why the part is incorrect, to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Double check part fitment and instructions!

Many times automotive parts are returned to the seller that are actually the correct fitment for the vehicle because simple things are overlooked, or manufacturer instructions are ignored.

By taking the right steps to determine why a part does not fit, we can save time, money, and help get your vehicle back in proper working condition.

Before determining that a part does not fit, please be sure to double check its fitment, and to read any accompanying documentation.

Sometimes manufacturers can make some minor design improvements, and although the part may look a little different, if will fit and function exactly as per your vehicles required specifications, and may even work better than the original design of the part.

If you have followed all the above steps, please contact Customer Service, and we will be happy to help resolve your issue.
