• Cold-Weather Lift Support - helps maintain lift performance in low temperatures where gas-spring-only designs can lose effectiveness.
• Components - automotive-grade materials meet OE standards for corrosion resistance, durability, toughness, and wear resistance.
• Controlled Motion - gas spring component provides speed control and end-position damping for smooth opening and closing.
• Direct Fit - engineered to OE specification for exact fit, form, and function with no modification, lubrication, or adjustment required.
• Durable Construction - OE-developed standards and processes are embedded in Stabilus operations and carried into all aftermarket parts.
• FEDERBEIN - lift support technology from Stabilus designed to provide more consistent panel operation across a wide temperature range.
• Mechanical Spring Assist - combines a gas spring with a mechanical coil spring to reduce temperature influence on opening and closing force.
• Quality - Stabilus brings OE manufacturing standards to the aftermarket for consistent quality and performance.
• Reduced Closing Effort - helps lower closing force at normal and elevated temperatures without sacrificing cold-weather opening performance.
• Stabilus FEDERBEIN liftgate lift support replaces the worn OE unit to restore proper liftgate operation. Its gas spring and mechanical spring combination helps support heavier panels while promoting more consistent operation across changing temperatures. A precision-formed groove in the tube manages extension speed for smooth motion and a controlled stop. High-precision sealing and corrosion-resistant materials help maintain consistent performance across thousands of operating cycles. The fully sealed design requires no lubrication, adjustment, or routine maintenance over its service life. Engineered to OE specification for exact fit, form, and function with no modification required.
