• Components - automotive-grade materials meet OE standards for corrosion resistance, durability, toughness, and wear resistance.
• Direct Fit - engineered to OE specification for exact fit, form, and function with no modification, lubrication, or adjustment required.
• Durable Construction - OE-developed standards and processes are embedded in Stabilus operations and carried into all aftermarket parts.
• Hydraulic Damping - Stabilus patented Labyrinth Piston routes fluid through a precision passage for smooth, clog-free motion control.
• LIFT-O-MAT® - the original nitrogen-charged lift support, invented by Stabilus and the benchmark for OE lift support quality worldwide.
• Quality - Stabilus brings OE manufacturing standards to the aftermarket for consistent quality and performance.
• Stabilus LIFT-O-MAT® trunk lid lift support replaces the worn OE unit to restore proper trunk lid operation. A patented Labyrinth Piston manages extension speed for smooth motion and a controlled stop. This damping profile helps prevent unsightly bouncing and shuddering of the trunk lid as it opens. High-precision sealing and corrosion-resistant materials help maintain consistent performance across thousands of operating cycles. The fully sealed design requires no lubrication, adjustment, or routine maintenance over its service life. Engineered to OE specification for exact fit, form, and function with no modification required.
