• Components - automotive-grade materials meet OE standards for corrosion resistance, durability, toughness, and wear resistance.
• Direct Fit - engineered to OE specification for exact fit, form, and function with no modification, lubrication, or adjustment required.
• Durable Construction - OE-developed standards and processes are embedded in Stabilus operations and carried into all aftermarket parts.
• Dynamic Damping - a technology developed by Stabilus, groove-in-tube speed control delivers smooth, controlled motion with no bouncing or vibration.
• Holding Zones - a specialized piston and segmented bypass groove create predefined stopping points for user-controlled opening angle.
• INTER-STOP® - nitrogen-charged lift support with integrated holding zones for precise multi-position panel control.
• Quality - Stabilus brings OE manufacturing standards to the aftermarket for consistent quality and performance.
• Stabilus INTER-STOP® hood lift support replaces the worn OE unit to restore proper hood operation. A precision-formed groove in the tube manages extension speed for smooth motion and a controlled stop. Its integrated holding area helps the hood stop and remain open at the OE-designed intermediate position for more flexible access during use. High-precision sealing and corrosion-resistant materials help maintain consistent performance across thousands of operating cycles. The fully sealed design requires no lubrication, adjustment, or routine maintenance over its service life. Engineered to OE specification for exact fit, form, and function with no modification required.
