• Components - automotive-grade materials meet OE standards for corrosion resistance, durability, toughness, and wear resistance.
• Direct Fit - engineered to OE specification for exact fit, form, and function with no modification, lubrication, or adjustment required.
• Durable Construction - OE-developed standards and processes are embedded in Stabilus operations and carried into all aftermarket parts.
• Dynamic Damping - a technology developed by Stabilus, groove-in-tube speed control delivers smooth, controlled motion with no bouncing or vibration.
• LIFT-O-MAT® - the original nitrogen-charged lift support, invented by Stabilus and the benchmark for OE lift support quality worldwide.
• Protective Dust Cap - controls dirt and grit buildup at the rod and tube union, preventing contaminants from being cycled into the part.
• Quality - Stabilus brings OE manufacturing standards to the aftermarket for consistent quality and performance.
• Temperature Compensating Valve - automatically adjusts force output in cold and warm conditions for consistent year-round performance.
• Stabilus LIFT-O-MAT® liftgate lift support replaces the worn OE unit to restore proper liftgate operation. A precision-formed groove in the tube manages extension speed for smooth motion and a controlled stop. An integrated temperature-compensating valve adjusts gas spring force for more consistent operation across changing temperatures. This temperature-compensating profile helps keep the liftgate securely open in cold conditions while allowing easier closing in warmer temperatures. A protective dust cap helps control dirt and grit buildup at the rod and tube union, reducing the chance of contaminants being cycled into the part. High-precision sealing and corrosion-resistant materials help maintain consistent performance across thousands of operatin
