Power Window Switches are usually located on the inside of every door that has power windows. When the window switch or button is pressed to open or close a window, it sends a signal to the window motor to move the window up or down.
Although these switches are not a part of regular maintenance, and should last a long time, they can fail due to damage, water, rust, or due to normal wear and tear.
In many vehicles the power window switches are assembled together with the power door lock switches, as a complete unit.
